Bio:

Charles J. July was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born at Fort Clark. He had black hair, black eyes, and a black complexion. He was 21 when he first enlisted.

He completed 2 enlistments, serving from October 12, 1908 to July 31, 1914. He served under Lt. Archer and Lt. Hughes. He was stationed at Ft. Clark.

He was honorably discharged on July 31, 1914.
