Bio:

Isaac Perryman was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Arkansas (Indian Territory). He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’5”. He was 29 years old when he first enlisted.

He completed 30 enlistments, serving from May 1, 1873 to July 10, 1908. He served under Lt. Bullis, Cpt. Cunningham, Lt. Markley, Lt. Jones, Lt. French, Lt. Hewitt, Lt. Dickman, Lt. Turner, Lt. Lowe, Lt. Evans, Lt. Shanks, Lt. Lowe, Cpt. Bourke, Lt. Martin, Lt. Vestal, Lt. Fenton, Lt. Hall, Cpt. Rafferty, Cpt. Arnold, and Cpt. Babcock. He was stationed at Ft. Duncan, Ft. Concho, Ft. Clark, Cp. Devil, Cp. Myers, Cp. Neville, Cp. Palvo, Aqua Nueve, Ft. Ringold, Cp. Comanche, Cp. Palafox, Cp. Concho, Cp. Painted, Cp. Devil, Cp. Presidio, Cp. Tepequaji, and Ft. Still.

Isaac Perryman passed away on September 12, 1918. He is buried at the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery.
