Bio:

After leaving the military (retired in 1957), Galer moved to Dallas to work at Ling-Temco-Vought.
He served as the Vice President of Engineering for the company.
He later became an executive with Bright & Co., a real estate firm owned by Harvey R. "Bum" Bright, former owner of the Dallas Cowboys.
Galer died of a stroke on 27 June 2005 in Dallas, Texas.
