Sgt. Sandlin J. Jordan was killed when the B-24H that he was a gunner on collided with another B-24 shortly after takeoff for a mission on 27 March 1944. Sgt. Jordan was a member of the Prosper Pinto Crew of the 466th Bomb Group - 785th Bomb Squadron based at Attlebridge, Norfolk. The aircraft crashed at: Northall Green, Dereham, Norfolk, UK. - Chris Brassfield, 466th BG Historian
Note: 80 US Soldiers died on the say same day. Six were from Texas.
