Bio:

Col.JOHN C.RUCKER,M.D.
Colonel John Collier Rucker,born December 14,1910,in
Texas,son of Mr.J.J.Rucker,Palestine,Texas,and hus-
band of Betty T.Rucker,8209 Chadbourne,Dallas,is a grad-
uate of Baylor Medical College.He was a practicing phy-
sician prior to his entry in service September 18,1940,with
the Army Office of Surgery.Entered as a Captain and re-
Ceived his last promotion to Colonel in 1945;served over-
seas September,1943,to September,1.945,in the European
Theater,Office of the Chief Surgeon,London and Cheltenham,
and in Paris,France.Colonel Rucker was awarded the
Bronze Star for meritorious service,along with various
other awards including the European Theater of Operations
Ribbon,American Theater and Defense Medals with the
Victory Award.Discharge was granted April 13,1946.
