Bio:

Joe Dixon was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Mexico. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’9”. He was 26 years old when he enlisted.

He completed one enlistment, serving from August 30, 1883 to August 31, 1884. He was stationed at Fort Clark and served under Lt. Hall.
