Bio:

Allen Factor was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Florida. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He was 5’6”. He was 40 when he enlisted.

He enlisted four times, serving from December 5, 1873 to December 28, 1875. He was stationed at Fort Duncan and Fort Concho, and he served under Lt, Bullis, Lt. Markley, and Cpt. Cunningham.

Allen Factor died on December 28, 1875 while in service. The cause of death was listed as apoplexy (a stroke). He was buried in Eagle Pass, Texas.
