Bio:
Dembo Factor was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Florida. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’7”. He was 62 when he enlisted.
He completed five enlistments, serving from February 8, 1878 to January 22, 1883. He was stationed at Fort Clark and served under Lt. Bullis and Lt. Jones. He died on July 15, 1891 and was buried at the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery in Brackettville.
