Bio:

Natividad Mariscal was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Mexico. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’6”. He first enlisted when he was 26.

He completed 8 enlistments, serving from September 12, 1876 to May 14, 1884. He served under Lt. Bullis, Lt. Jones, and Lt. French. He was stationed at Ft. Clark and Cp. Myers.

Note: He probably married into the Black Seminoles, or he was a descendant of someone who married into the Black Seminoles.
