Bio:

Ignacio Perryman was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Mexico. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’6”. He was 21 when he first enlisted.

He completed 5 enlistments, serving from January 3, 1893 to July 31, 1914. He served under Lt. Shanks, Lt. Vestal, Cpt. Babcock, Lt. Barney, and Lt. Kellam. He was stationed at Ft. Clark, Ft. Ringold, and Cp. San Pedro.

Ignacio Perryman was honorably discharged. He died on May 20, 1933. He was buried at the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery.
