Bio:

Antonio Sanches was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Mexico. He had black eyes, grey hair, and a dark complexion. He stood 5’5”. He was 45 when he first enlisted.

He completed 14 enlistments, serving from January 13, 1887 to September 30, 1914. He served under Lt. Hall, Lt. Cunningham, Lt. Shanks, Lt. Vestal, Lt. Hays, Cpt. Read, Cpt. Arnold, Cpt. Babcock, Lt. Barney, and Lt. Kellar. He was stationed at Ft. Clark, Cp. Neville, Ft. Ringold, and Cp. San Pedro.

Antonio Sanches was honorably discharged on September 13, 1914 at the age of 68.
