Bio:

Henry Washington was a Seminole Negro Indian Scout who was born in Tennessee. He had black eyes, black hair, and a black complexion. He stood 5’10”. He was 30 when he first enlisted.

He completed 17 enlistments, serving from November 20, 1882 to September 25, 1895. He served under Lt. Hickey, Lt. French, Lt. Hewitt, Lt. Hall, Lt. Dickman, Lt. Turner, Lt. Lowe, Lt. Evans, Lt. Shanks, Lt. West, and Lt. Vestal. He was stationed at Ft. Clark, Cp. Myers, Cp. Neville, Cp. Palvo, Cp. Presidio, Aqua Nueve.

Note: He was discharged for a disability on September 25, 1895.
