In honor of Sgt Saenz, a firebase in Helmand Province, Afghanistan was named “Firebase Saenz” and a Marine Corps M777 Lightweight Howitzer Cannon was renamed “Saenz From Above”. Died in Helmand province, Afghanistan, while supporting combat operations.
