Died in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device while on dismounted patrol in Panjwai, Afghanistan. (A stretch of road in Mansfield, LA will soon be renamed to honor the life and legacy of an ArkLaTex soldier killed in action.)
