Bio:
Born in Europe (Poland, Czechoslovakia, or Germany). Enlisted in the Texian army on March 13, 1836, and served in the company of William E. Howth and Nicholas Lynch. Played "Come to the Bower" on the fife at the Battle of San Jacinto. URL for the music is attached.
