Hudson died in Baghdad, Iraq, of injuries sustained April 15, 2005 in Camp Taji, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol. He was assigned to the 401st Military Police Company, 720th Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Hood, Texas. Died on April 16, 2005.
