BIO:
Teresa Rockensock was born December 21, 1970 in Bemidji, Minnesota to Vietnam Veteran Marine Sgt. Raymond Rockensock of Bemidji, Minnesota and Joan Olson of Shevlin, Minnesota. She grew up east of Shevlin and attended Shevlin Elementary School and Bagley High School. She graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1989 and enlisted into the United States Army on June 22, 1989.

Teresa was sent to Fort Jackson, South Carolina to attend the US Army Basic Training Command and Advanced Individual Training as a Food Service Specialist. Following training she was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 62nd Engineers Battalion 13th COSCOM Fort Hood, Texas.

In 1990 Teresa was deployed to Saudi Arabia with the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 62nd Engineers Battalion 13th COCOM Fort Hood, Texas in support of Operation Desert Shield and later was assigned to the Headquarters Company, 20th Engineer Battalion, 18th Airborne Corps in support of Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq.

Upon her return from deployment to the Gulf War she was Honorably Discharged from Active Duty and transferred to the Army Individual Ready Reserve where she served another 6 years to complete her enlistment contract.
