Sounds of Freedom-Military Band-July 6, 2024

The 395th Army  Band of the Southwest will be doing two performance. Their 8 Piece Brass Band will play at the Golden Triangle Mall at 2PM on the 6th and that evening 7 PM, the entire 30 piece band will be doing a concert at the Denton High School Performing Arts Center (3001 Bronco Way, Denton, TX). Admission is FREE. Tickets must be obtained at the Texas Veterans Hall of Fame Museum located in the Golden Triangle Mall, Denton Texas. Contact TVHOF for Tickets.

Round II-TVHOF Teams Up with United Rental to Cleanup an Old Historic Cemetery.

Sept 16 2023. Over 70 people spent the day of round 2 cleaning up the Pagetown Cemetery. Click on the photo for a video. The Pagetown Cemetery conceals its century-old graves, where both a Confederate and Union soldier rest amidst overgrown foliage, shielding this historic site from public sight. Seventy-nine volunteers from eight businesses and organizations gathered to assist in cleaning the cemetery and its vicinity on Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Caring friends from various groups, including the Texas Veterans Hall of Fame, the Texas Roadhouse, Frenchy's Lawn and Tree, the American Heritage Girls Troop, United Rental, the City of Denton, Just Serve, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, joined forces to restore the cemetery.

Sept 5, 2023. Gary and Jere do a presentation in Richardson, TX for The National Society Daughters of the American Colonists (NSDAC), an organization of female descendants of American colonials. Its mission is education on the Colonial history of the United States.

Walmart Gives TVHOF A Grant (Jun 23, 2023)

We were grateful that Walmart gave us a $2500 grant for our Educational Programs.

Visit to Commemorative Air Force (Jun 20, 2023)

Jere and I did a presentation to a nice group of kids that were attending a educational camp and talked about our service and the Texas Veterans Hall of Fame.

Drawing for M1 Garand Rifle (Jun 3 2023)

Had our drawing for the M1 Garand . A WWII Veteran from Austin won the rifle. He was one of the individuals that visited our bus in March.

Medal of Honor Parade, Gainesville, TX (April 19,2023)

We traveled to Gainesville, TX and was in the Medal of Honor Parade.

Mobile Bus Goes to Austin (March 2023)

We traveled to Austin on March 25 to visit a retirement village and had three WWII Veterans (101 and 102 Years old) visit our bus. It was an awesome trip to be able to share our bus and memories with these heroes. We had five in our party and was able to present 6 veterans with their induction into the Texas Veterans Hall of Fame.
